We are pleased to announce a major upgrade to the connectivity infrastructure at our Coventry-based datacentre, Continuity House. We have signed a new contract with Zayo Europe to allow us to turn up an additional 800Gbit of core network capacity to our datacentre.

The new capacity is delivered over two fully diverse connections, with no common shared components between them.
This design ensures that Continuity House benefits from true redundancy, giving customers complete peace of mind that connectivity remains stable and reliable even in the event of a network disruption.
Reliability and uptime remain central to UKServers’ mission, and this latest development further underlines our commitment.
“Bringing Zayo on-net with diverse optical equipment not only allows us to greatly increase the capacity of our datacentre, but also allows for further carrier-neutral connectivity options for our rackspace & colocation customers.”
Ben Yarwood
Technical Lead @ UKServers
Continuity House operates as a carrier-neutral datacentre, giving customers the freedom to choose from a range of connectivity providers. This independence ensures competitive pricing, flexibility, and the ability to build the optimal connectivity strategy for each business. With Zayo now adding substantial capacity, the options available within the facility are stronger than ever.
Increased Connectivity Options
As part of this upgrade, UKServers customers will gain direct access to Zayo’s extensive optical network.
This opens the door to a wide range of enterprise-grade services from Zayo, including CloudLink, DDoS Protection, Dedicated Internet Access, Ethernet, IP Transit, and a broad portfolio of managed services. By interconnecting with Zayo, customers benefit from both local and global reach, with the flexibility to scale as their business demands evolve.
For businesses seeking rackspace, colocation, managed hosting solutions, and connectivity services, UKServers provides a secure, reliable, and future-ready environment. The addition of Zayo’s network capacity ensures that our customers can continue to depend on us for high-performance hosting and resilient infrastructure to power their mission-critical applications.

Core Network Upgrades
In order to take full advantage of the new diverse 400Gbit connections, we are carrying out core network upgrades within our Coventry Datacentre to allow for native 400GbE ports to be delivered to customers.
This will be handled with the provision of Juniper MX304 Routers – capable of providing up to 4.8Tbps in just 2U of space!
