Managed Database Hosting Solutions

Reliable, high-performance database hosting on our dedicated servers. Fully managed and monitored 24/7/365 by our expert team, with support for MS SQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL. Includes offsite backups and optional multi site redundancy.

Secure, Fully Managed Databases for Your Business

Our managed database hosting service delivers enterprise grade reliability and flexibility, tailored to your business needs. Hosted in our secure UK datacentre and supported by skilled engineers around the clock, we provide single server, failover, and replication configurations. With offsite backups, proactive monitoring, and the option to span multiple sites, we ensure your critical data is always protected and highly available.

Proactive Monitoring & 24/7 Support

Our engineers continuously monitor your databases 24/7/365, ensuring issues are detected and resolved before they impact performance. With always available freephone support, expert help is just a call away whenever you need it.

Built-in Backups & Recovery

Backups are fully automated across resilient 3-node clusters, ensuring consistent performance even during backup operations. Enjoy seamless point-in-time recovery of entire databases or individual tables, giving you confidence that your data is always safe.

High Availability & Replication Options

We deliver enterprise grade availability through SQL mirroring and replication options. Choose asynchronous or synchronous replication depending on your latency and consistency needs, ensuring your databases remain resilient and always accessible.

Seamless Upgrades with Minimal Downtime

Upgrade with confidence. Whether it’s a minor patch or a major version change, our platform supports seamless upgrades with minimal to no downtime. Schedule updates automatically or trigger them on demand, all without disrupting your business.

Supported Databases

Our managed platform supports a wide range of industry leading databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Microsoft SQL Server. Whatever your application requires, we provide the flexibility and expertise to support it.

Enterprise Grade Security

Your databases are secured with encryption at rest and in transit, ensuring data confidentiality at every stage. Running within private VPC networks, access is strictly limited to whitelisted IP addresses, keeping your data locked down and protected.

Asynchronous Replication - Low-Latency Writes and Effortless Read Expansion

Fast performance with eventual consistency

Asynchronous replication allows a primary database (master) to handle all writes while changes are copied to secondary replicas (slaves) in the background. This approach delivers low-latency writes and excellent performance, with replicas kept closely in sync. While there may be a slight delay before replicas are fully updated, asynchronous replication is ideal for workloads that prioritize speed and read scalability over absolute real-time consistency.

Multi-Master Replication - Always-On Data Availability Across Every Node

High availability with distributed writes

Multi-master replication enables multiple database servers to accept writes simultaneously, with changes replicated between nodes to keep data consistent. This setup increases resilience, reduces single points of failure, and allows applications to stay online even if one master fails. However, because updates can originate from different nodes, multi-master replication introduces more complexity and requires conflict resolution mechanisms.

FAQ’s

Some of the frequently asked questions

Mirroring provides a one-to-one copy of your primary database, ready to take over instantly if the primary fails. Replication allows data to be copied to multiple servers, enabling read scaling, geo-distribution, and more flexible recovery options.

Backups are fully automated and taken without performance impact. We support point-in-time recovery (PITR), so you can restore an entire database or roll back to a specific table or transaction, depending on your needs.

In high-availability packages, a mirror or replica automatically takes over with minimal downtime. Recovery time is measured in seconds, not hours, ensuring continuity for your applications.

Yes. We support MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Microsoft SQL Server out of the box. If you need another engine, please get in touch, as we can usually accommodate custom requirements.

All databases are encrypted both at rest and in transit. Access is strictly controlled through private VPC networking and IP allow-listing, ensuring your data remains protected against unauthorized access.

Absolutely. You can scale vertically (more CPU, RAM, storage) or horizontally (adding read replicas or cluster nodes). Our platform is designed to grow seamlessly with your workload.

No, major and minor upgrades can be applied with minimal to no disruption. Rolling updates across mirrors or replicas ensure your databases remain available while staying up to date.
