Our History

UK Servers was founded in 2004. Our very first server was co-located at Redbus Meridian Gate in London's Docklands, marking the beginning of our journey in high-performance hosting.

We became a member of the RIPE NCC, empowering us to directly manage and allocate our own IP address space.

We pioneered the UK’s first same-day dedicated server deployment, a game changer for hosting speed and flexibility.

Our Coventry based Network Operations Centre began operating 24/7/365, delivering round-the-clock client support.

We opened our first purpose built datacentre in Coventry, expanding our infrastructure and bringing hosting closer to home.

Joining LINX enhanced our connectivity and peering capabilities, boosting performance and redundancy for our UK clients.

As our original 40 rack datahall reached capacity, we opened a second datahall at our Coventry facility.

We partnered with Corero Networks to deliver real-time DDoS mitigation using multiple onsite 100Gb/s devices.

We completed a major network upgrade, linking our Coventry datacentre directly to London and Manchester for increased redundancy and speed.

In early 2023 we opened Continuity House; our flagship Midlands datacentre with space for 250 racks and room to grow.

We became the first privately owned UK hosting provider to take a 400Gb/s port on LINX, reaffirming our position at the forefront of UK networking.

We launched the Crown and Cluster, a traditional English style pub inside our Continuity House facility. Designed as a meeting space with a twist.

We signed an agreement with Zayo Networks to bring over 1Tb/s of dedicated connectivity to our Coventry datacentre, due online early 2026.
